T.I. is paying respects to his fallen Grand Hustle Records labelmate Doe B. At Saturday's funeral for the slain emcee at Montgomery's True Divine Baptist Church, T.I. reflected on Doe B.'s maturity.
Video posted on MontgomeryAdvertiser.com also shows T.I. promising Doe B.'s family, friends and followers that Doe B.'s hard work in the studio won't go to waste. He vowed to use all his resources and relationships in the music industry to "make sure his dream lives on." Apart from the Hustle Gang boss, Doe B.'s mother and his manager, DJ Frank White, also spoke at the funeral.
Doe B. -- born Glenn Thomas -- was shot and killed at Montgomery's Centennial Hill Bar and Grill on December 28th. The shooting also took the lives of a 21-year-old woman and a 20-year-old man, who passed away on Friday. Several others were injured.
According to Montgomery's WSFA TV, Montgomery police have arrested two people in connection with the murders. Twenty-five-year old Darius Thomas was arrested Wednesday night and charged with capital murder. Jason McWilliams was arrested shortly after the incident and faces the same charges.
