Nicki Minaj To Perform On 'Saturday Night Live' Season Finale

Nicki Minaj will close out the latest season of Saturday Night Live when she serves as the musical guest for the Tina Fey-hosted episode on May 19.

On Wednesday (April 18), NBC announced the May line-up for their last three episodes of season 43 and it's a jam-packed affair. It'll begin on May 5 when Donald Glover (Childish Gambino) pulls double duties as host and musical guest of his episode. Next up, Kacey Musgraves will take the stage during the Amy Schumer-hosted broadcast on May 12. For their finale, SNL alum Tina Fey will return to Studio 8H to wrap up the season with the one and only Harajuku Barbie.

Minaj has previously appeared on SNL four times, with a pair of visits serving as the musical guests in 2011 and 2014. The 35-year-old rapper also made cameos during Drake and The Weeknd's performances in 2011 and 2015, respectively. It's likely that we'll hear at least one of the two comebacks cuts that Minaj recently released, "Barbie Tingz" and "Chin-Li," which debuted at the No. 83 and 92 positions, after just one day of sales and streaming tracking. Saturday Night Live airs at 11:30 PM ET on NBC.
