Multiple Paintball Shootings Involving Juvenile Suspects Reported In NOLA

The New Orleans Police Department is seeking public assistance in an investigation into multiple incidents of five unknown juveniles reportedly shooting paintballs and airsoft rifles at victims.

The department shared photos and information related to the incident on its official website on Wednesday. NOPD said it has received multiple calls in the Second, Fifth and Sixth districts of three to five unknown individuals described as Black juveniles reportedly committing simple battery by shooting paintballs and airsoft rifles at victims.

While not specified by the department, the New Orleans districts mentioned include Uptown, the Garden District, Central City, the Irish Channel, Bywater, Marigny, St. Claude, St. Roch, the Upper 9th Ward, Holy Cross and the Lower 9th Ward, NOLA.com reports.

The suspects were reported to have committed the incidents while traveling in an older model silver Honda sedan with a sunroof, black front and rear bumper and an unknown temporary tag on its windshield, which was captured in surveillance photos shared by the department.
