O.J. Simpson could get out of prison later this year. A spokesman for the Nevada Board of Parole said a hearing will likely take place in July which could lead to Simpson being released from prison as soon as October. The former football star is serving time for his role in a 2007 armed robbery in a Las Vegas hotel room, where Simpson took sports memorabilia.
Simpson was famously acquitted in 1995 for the murders of his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and a friend, Ron Goldman. Simpson has a good chance of getting parole based on prison ratings that list him in the low-risk category for release.
