Mary J Speaks On Strength Of A Woman Album
Mary J. is known for being brutally honest in her music and she recently let some brutal honesty rip in a tell-all new interview. As previously reported there’s lots more drama brewing between M J B and Isaac amid reports that he took over $400 K of her money to spend on a mistress (allegedly Mary’s protege ), and wants $110,000 in monthly spousal support.....“Unfortunately, the album wasn’t titled because of the situation, it was titled about a year ago. […] I guess it was destined to be this.”“I remember when I thought I found the love of my life and I told everybody on “Be Without You.” This is really messed up, I didn’t wanna be here, I thought I was gonna be in that situation for the rest of my life. That’s why I suffered through it, that’s why I was humiliated through the whole thing because I really wanted it to work and it just didn’t.”
She also spoke candidly on coping with her “dark days”…
“Sometimes I have dark days, sometimes I have light days. I’m having dark moments, I’m just going through it right now but there’s light at the end of the tunnel. That’s what the album represents. I’m indestructible, I’m not going to let this destroy me. I’m going to keep people around me that make me smile.”
and finally admitted that there was creeping in her marriage because someone wanted a harem.
“You don’t know why a person wants so much later but this is not the deal we made, we didn’t make this deal for you to have a harem. We made this deal for it to be me and you.”
Poor, poor Mary, she didn’t deserve that.
