Treme 7th Ward Arts and Culture Festival

Kermit Ruffins (above) is one of many bands scheduled to perform at this festival Saturday-Monday (May 25-27) under the bridge along North Claiborne Avenue. 

Other performers include Jose Fermin and Merengue-4, Corey Henry and the Treme Funktet, Gina Brown and Anutha Level, Treme Brass Band and more.

Monday's events occur at Tuba Fats Square by the Candlelight Lounge.

MONDAY, MAY 27th | TREME MEMORIAL DAY BLOCK PARTY AT TUBA FATS SQUARE

Everyone is welcome at the Treme Memorial Day Block Party and Concert in Tuba Fats Square next to the Candlelight Lounge. Come celebrate the Treme neighborhood spirit at a free concert by some of New Orleans' favorite bands, including New Birth Brass Band, and headliner Corey Henry & the Treme Funktet. Please purchase the crawfish, seafood and drinks at the party to help cover the event expenses and be sure to leave something in the tip jar to support the band. After the party, head inside the Candlelight for more live music, drinks and dancing.
