So two of the Atlanta police officers that were fired for using excessive force with a couple of college students are suing Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms, and police chief Erika Shields as well, the two officers are filing the suit in hopes of getting their jobs back! According to Hollywood Unlocked.com and 11ALIVE, officers Ivory Streeter and Mark Gardner filed the lawsuit on June 8th, 2020 saying that their use of force was lawful, and they should not be fired. However, there is more to the story than that! According to the 11Alive video the officers are also claiming that there was not a full and fair investigation before the two were fired. Other officers that were involved were not fired and given desk duty, the two just want their jobs back. I gotta give the side eye on this one, if you look at the video the two officers that are filing this suit didn't even look to be the aggressive ones in the video, watch below and see for yourself, it could be something that we don't see but, really I'm tripping over how they just broke the glass to the care and started tazing them, I can't believe that happened!
