If you live in Chicago or visit the city, I'm sure you have probably driven on Ida B. Wells Drive at some point. It's the street that runs east and west through downtown as you come into the city from the west. You know, the one that runs under the big post office.
Ida B. Wells was a Chicago journalist who exposed the terrible practice of lynching and she is now featured as a Barbie. I'm giving props to Mattel, Inc. on creating the doll, which is the latest edition to Barbie's "Inspiring Women" series. The doll will be available at major retailers Jan. 17th
