The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) has recently revealed that a combination of COVID infection and being vaccinated may build an immunity to the virus.
According to a new study, people who were actually infected with COVID had better protection against the Delta variant as oppose to those who were only vaccinated.
Those who never had COVID or were vaccinated fared the worst – those who previously had a COVID infection and were vaccinated fared the best. But the reality is COVID cases are still surging across the country and even those who have been fully vaccinated and boosted are still being infected with the virus.
