6-Year-Old Boy Aspires To End Bullying With A Simple Message

If you're ever looking for a companion, you've got a friend in Blake Rajahn.

The six-year-old Fayetteville, GA native has been preparing to return to school with the help of his mother, Nikki. While most kids make it a priority to assure they have every school supply ready at hand, Blake's main concern was making sure he offered a welcoming environment for new students. Having experienced bullying firsthand, the North Fayette Elementary student asked his mother to make a custom shirt with a special message for his first day. Nikki wrote on her Facebook page:

"It [t-shirt] could have anything — a basketball theme, football, etc. which are all his favorites. He thought a while and said, '[Will] you please make me a shirt that says 'I will be your friend' for all the kids who need a friend to know that I am here for them.'"

She went on to tell WCNC that her son (big brother to three siblings) simply, "wants to make sure that kids that are bullied know they have a friend already."

So far, Blake's positive message has been greatly received and shared. So much so, Nikki has sold more versions of the "I will be your friend" tees through her company, Unfading Adornments. Selling at $15 a piece, part of the proceeds will be donated to the Real Life Center. The organization is dedicated to helping families in Fayette County. A Bible school vacation trip with the group was the first taste Blake got for giving back to the community after participating in a toothbrush/toothpaste drive.

Make sure to grab your own "friendly" t-shirt before they run out and spread the love!
