On the heels of a report that the Saints are shopping such fan-favorites as Lance Moore, Pierre Thomas, and possibly Darren Sproles, Lance Moore tweeted what seems like a goodbye message to the city of New Orleans.

“Thank you New Orleans for an amazing nine years. Who Dat Nation, the best on earth!!!" was the message tweeted just after 7:00 a.m. Friday by Saints wide receiver Lance Moore.

Thursday night, Moore tweeted, "It's news to you, it's news to me people. Guess we wait n see. Appreciate the love and support from everyone tho."

Both Thursday night's and Friday morning's tweets come just a day after reports surfaced from ESPN NFL beat reporter Adam Shefter, that the Saints were shopping several long-time fixtures on the team – Pierre Thomas, Lance Moore, and Darren Sproles.

Moore is scheduled to count $5.1 million against the cap. Thomas is owed $2.9 million, and Sproles is at $3.4 million.

The three represent about $12 million against the Saints' salary cap.

The Saints have about $3.5 million in cap space and are looking to re-sign tight end Jimmy Graham, who was recently put under the franchise tag.
